Week #5: Wilkins' Warriors Remain Undefeated
By David Lee — The Freshmen squad went to battle once again on Thursday night — and result was all too familiar. This time they tore-up "The Jungle" by manhandling South Lyon, 46-0. The victory kept the their undefeated season safe with a 5-0 record. The boys are playing tremendous football and their confidence appears to be snowballing each week.
Coach Wilkins
I like to give credit where credit is due, and head coach Scott Wilkins is due some big credit. At the helm again this year, Coach Wilkins has managed to out-score his opponents 205-34 — including three shut-outs. His coaching style demands discipline, hard work and perfection. The boys respond in a BIG way because they know it's a recipe for success.
Kudos to Coach Wilkins, his staff and of course the players. Just remember boys, your coach can only prepare you for battle — you have to get the job done! Follow your leader, play hard, don't get too cocky, HAVE FUN, and oh yeah... kick some ass along the way! We're all looking forward to the rest of the season! Go Eagles!
